burgundy
I am about to launch into the weathering of a model of an outside framed loco and have been looking for any colour pictures that show where the grime etc would collect on the frames. The only two operating examples of outside framed locos, that I can think of, are the Dukedog and City of Truro, unless someone can suggest any others. Truro would be the better example, as the frames on the loco that I am working on are deep, dark red (Burgundy actually) and very similar to the livery in which Truro has worked. However, all the photos seem to show her in pristine condition - rather than with a slight film of traffic grime. Does anyone have any bright ideas please? Many thanks Eric
