I am finding the book quite informative....especially given I don't live in the UK.

Info is easy to read, with easy explanations given how to represent things.

The guide to paint colours is invaluable.

The 3 Rural Buildings projects are... Rural farmhouse, Devon (cob) Thatched Cottage and Derelect Limestone Field Barn

Certainly compliments other structure books I have and well worth buying in my opinion.

Pleased to see that this book is now available. I have known David for a number of years and he has done work for our local club. He was demonstrating his building techniques at the Derby show last month and was most disappointed that the book was stuck on a 'slow boat from China' and wasn't going to arrive in time for his local show - all he had was his author's proof copy for visitors to look at.

Have you seen his website - there are also two DVDs available to show you how to follow his ideas.
