'These sketches and notes have been collected from the sketchbooks of Mr. L.J.Baugh, who worked in theSwindon Drawing Office from 1934 until 1967, and susbsequently at the Technical Centre, Derby,until his retirement in 1976. This information is concerned with the first B.R Livery applied to G.W.R stock in the period 1949 - 1951before B.R MkI standard stock was built'.
