Atlas GP38-2 with Tsunami AT1000 start up issue

Recommended Posts

I've installed a Tsunami AT1000 into an Atlas Trainman GP38-2 and the problem is when I select speed step 1 on either 28 or 128 steps the loco starts to move before the engine startup happens

CV2 is set to 0. I've tried large values in CV3 I've also tried the built in speed tables but nothing has cured it.

Using a Powercab I can do a quick 'inc' 'dec' to start the engine sound without it moving but would prefer a better solution.

Here's hoping someone has an answer

OK, I've found a solution.

CV 209/210 need there values adjusting down from the default. (CV2/3/4 all set to 0)

I've now got it stationery on step 1/2/3 and creeping so slow on step 4 that it's hardly noticeable.

A bit more tuning to change it to movement on step 3
