10000
I've installed a Tsunami AT1000 into an Atlas Trainman GP38-2 and the problem is when I select speed step 1 on either 28 or 128 steps the loco starts to move before the engine startup happens CV2 is set to 0. I've tried large values in CV3 I've also tried the built in speed tables but nothing has cured it. Using a Powercab I can do a quick 'inc' 'dec' to start the engine sound without it moving but would prefer a better solution. Here's hoping someone has an answer MIke
RMweb Gold Scottish Modeller Posted July 6, 2013 RMweb Gold Share Posted July 6, 2013 Hi Mike, I had to change the start voltage to stop this happening with an Atlas GP35... Having Decoder Pro and Sprog make this easy to do. From memory I cant remember how to do it with just a DCC control system. Hope this helps.... 10000
OK, I've found a solution. CV 209/210 need there values adjusting down from the default. (CV2/3/4 all set to 0) I've now got it stationery on step 1/2/3 and creeping so slow on step 4 that it's hardly noticeable. A bit more tuning to change it to movement on step
