richard60098
Hi gents, I'm converting my new Hornby HAA coal hoppers with new buffers, decals, re-painting the red line and adding new wheels. Which size wheels and make are best to replace the large wrong Hornby type with guys? Best Regards, Rich
cheesysmith
Remember the haa require 14mm disc wheels unlike almost ever other wagon. Also, they are only braked on diagonally opposite sides, so have 1 brake disc per axle. You can either get a axle with a brake disc on and one without and sawp one wheel over between axles, or use something like the colin craig etched disc on a plain 3 hole disc wheel.
