We often get people asking how much does it cost to get parts cut on a waterjet machine. A waterjet machine can cut through up to 200mm thick material with accuracy of around 0.05mm / 0.1mm without any heat effected zone that would normally occur with laser cutting or plasma cutting so it can be a worthwhile process especially when the job is greater than 10mm thick.

Working out the cost depends on many factors and there is not a simple formula so we have included some useful information on our website which we hope will be interesting to anyone thinking of using a waterjet process to manufacture parts.
