robmcg Posted January 10, 2010 Share Posted January 10, 2010 Hi All, In view of the upcoming 28XX Hornby models, I thought I would offer my view of the previous version, weathered not just by Hornby but by a photo editing program. The biggest problem I have is that my layout has upper quadrant signals. In any event I am very pleased by Hornby's 2010 program and await an 'Earl Cairns'. I am ever mindful of a Government Inspector who visited Swindon in 1939 and apocrophyl though it may be said when asked what the works could reliably produce for the war effort replied something like, "They can produce anything here".
