RandyWales
Hi again.. I'm in need of some 7mm scale traditional concourse barriers, but can't recall ever seeing them modelled. Are there any small suppliers out there who have made them available in etched brass in any of the scales? Randall
peak experience
I have some white metal ones in OO that I picked up from a bits box so somebody somewhere has produced them.

Here is one such http://millerwireworks.com/documents/BostwickGates.pdf Keith Thanks for the info Keith....I spent ages looking for the correct terminology and the best I could come up with was 'Traditional Station Concourse Platform Barriers'...in over forty years of interest in railways I never knew they had a 'name'.The PDF has plenty of information for potential etch manufacturers if they take up the challenge. I think working gates would tax even Masokits... Seriously, I'm sure this ubiquitous platform feature deserves better exposure in modelling terms....
