I will be going to my Dad's old house soon, as i need to sort out all the railway stuff he has.

I know he has thousands of photo going back to the early 1960's through to the mid 80's, i want to sort them out and will post them here once done.

I look forward to seeing his other photo's. I'm surprised I hadn't found this thread before, I went to Barry once, I begged my dad to stop the car, but he wouldn't. Just got the briefest look at the loco's from the car and that was it.

That was my dad all over.

we went through Doncaster across the bridge near the shed every two weeks. Would he turn down to the shed? Or drop in at the works? Never.

 

meanwhile, my mate's dad took them to Nuneaton, Crewe, Rugby, Derby etc etc, spotting.
