Nikon have changed the procedures and I haven't worked out yet how to use the new. Why must things that happily work be left alone? I don't know if it means anything but the 'working' sign (the wheel going around) is next to 'Clear Selection'. Does that help? The image in question is the last one on my Hintock thread-the 3F.
