fender
wondering why this might be happening: C&L plastic sleepers/chairs and standard nickel-silver rail stuck together with butanone and the whole shebang stuck to varnished ply with neat PVA. having left it weighted down for several hours the track has gone a brownish colour in places and it does not scrape off easily. why might this happen? is it some residue from the glue? is it a problem, and how might I get rid of it? thanks
Ian Fisher
I would look to give it a good rub with a fibre glass stick. Was the rail completely tarnish free before being glued down?

buffalo
There was a similar topic a couple of months back. Lack of air circulation around the drying PVA and fumes trapped around the rails seemed to be the concensus. Nick
