Last year Shipley got a few mixed reviews because it didn't quite match up to the high standards set in previous years.

 

I'm pleased to say that this year was most certainly back on form with a fine selection of layouts across the scales and gaps in the trade coverage filled.

Unfortunately Saturday was affected by a fault in the electric supply which affected 600 properties in the surrounding area and resulted in periods of the main hall only being illuminated by the lights on the layouts as well as periods of dead layouts. Time was called early at 4.20. Thankfully the fault was resolved overnight and Sunday passed without significant incident.
