RMweb Premium Claude_Dreyfus Posted September 24, 2013 RMweb Premium Share Posted September 24, 2013 On 27th October the Liphook & District MRC will hold its 4th club open day, at the Milland Village hall. We try not to advertise it as an exhibition as the set up will be more informal, however there will be up to 9 layouts on display in various states of construction, 5 or so in operation. There will various displays and a small stall selling various bits and bobs. Refreshments will be available. Details below: http://www.millandvalleyrailway.co.uk/welcome/model-trains-in-the-valley-2013/ Anyone in the area, come and say hello!
RMweb Premium Claude_Dreyfus Posted October 28, 2013 Author RMweb Premium Share Posted October 28, 2013 Well, we had a successful day; despite the heavy rain and the threat of impending storms. More details are on our blog below... http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/blog/100-liphook-district-mrc-blog/ However, here is one picture of a class 33 paying a visit to Hawkhurst. The model is a very nice repainted Heljan 'slim Jim'.
