DonnyRailMan
Could not find a General topic section so here goes. Out of Bachmann and Hornby do Bachmann produce the most A4 models of the 35 that was built. Ok I know both Bachmann & Hornby produce the well kwon named A4s I mean including the lesser known A4 loco`s D.R.M.

Jenny Emily
Although if you want to actually walk into a shop today and buy one, the only ones I can find are Bachmann at the moment.
34theletterbetweenB&D
Leaving aside the not insignificant matter of present availability, Hornby's tooling offers the greater potential I would suggest. While the Hornby loco body shell is generally acknowledged better than the Bachmann, if the shape of the latter satisfies then well enough. But, when it comes to the tenders, not even considering the superior accuracy of the rendering Hornby have a wider selection to cover the variations; the coach ended corridor type just for a start. Already showing as out of stock (there was 1 left when I looked a couple of days ago). 25 sets seems a ridiculously low number to have produced - and the speed they've sold at suggest that they could have sold more.
