banburysaint
I ve seen a few press adverts for Right Track 18 – Trouble-shooting and Fault Finding DVD, and watched the short You Tube advert. Has any one purchased this DVD, did you find it worth while? Many thanks for your time

RMweb Premium Downer Posted October 7, 2013 RMweb Premium Share Posted October 7, 2013 As promised, a report back on Right Track 18. I have to say, I was a bit disappointed in this one. It covers track cleaning, wheel cleaning and regauging, running in, lubrication, checking pick-ups... and I think that's about it. It all seemed very basic to this middling modeller - not much more than common sense in most cases. And while that's not to be sneezed at, and Tim Shackleton is a hoot as always,it did seem rather expensive at £23 (incl p&p) for less than two hours' worth. I've learned a lot from many of the DVDs in this series, but not a great deal from this one. Only for complete beginners, in my opinion. Dave. Arthur
Thanks for that Dave, I have the others in this series and they're all pretty good. I did wonder about this one, your review confirms my doubts.
