Hastings Thumper Posted January 14, 2010 Share Posted January 14, 2010 At the end of last night's Great British Railway Journeys, there was a comment that further steam railway programmes were available at : http:/www.bbc.co.uk/archive/steamtrains I had a quick look last night - there's some very good programmes on there. Two which caught my eye were the Rocket 150 cavalcade (I remember watching this one at the time way back in 1980) and the non-stop run from Kings Cross to Edinburgh by Flying Scotsman, originally broadcast in 1968. Alan Pegler is featured quite a bit in the Scotsman film - also there's a great shot of the A3 leaving Kings Cross running parallel with Deltic 21 into Copenhagen tunnel.
