Does anyone know what colour the inside of the cabs of the GWR 94XX class (the first 10) were painted when they were built please? I'm building an old Wills Finecast model and have just realised I need to paint the cab interior before I can put any more of it together. I've checked on the net and can only find exterior colour photos of the two preserved examples. Any suggestions will be gratefully received - thank you in anticipation. Looking at my copy of The Pannier Papers No. 1 94XX, 84XX and 34XX, there's a couple of black and white photo's of loco's from the Swindon built batch still in GWR livery and the cab interior is a dark colour.
