RMweb Premium nick_bastable Posted May 16, 2015 RMweb Premium Share Posted May 16, 2015 as a person who has trouble quartering a 0-4-0 i can say that is impressive
RMweb Gold queensquare Posted May 16, 2015 RMweb Gold Share Posted May 16, 2015 as a person who has trouble quartering a 0-4-0 i can say that is impressive The simplest way to quarter wheels is a pair at a time so whether it's an 0-4-0 or a 2-10-0 it's simply a series of 0-4-0s. John lewsey
hi just thought I'd post an update ive been looking forward to this bit it's starting to look like an engine
Steve Sykes
Out of interest, what minimum radius will the loco go round? Have you had to take any special measures to allow for side-play on such a long loco? I believe the real things were notorious for spreading the track in sidings; that probably says more about the track than the engine. Steve
John lewsey
Hi Steve the radius for the layout is 3ft 6ins there are also Q6 and 9fs destined for Brick bridge so hopefully everything will be well Regards John
