Job title Managing Editor – Railway Modelling Titles BRM BRM (Digital Edition) BRM Live Model-Railways-Live Model-Railways-Live E-Newsletter Editorial representation at all shows (Warners plus external) Editorial responsibility for additional digital projects Job advert Position: Managing Editor – Railway Modelling An exciting position has been created for a Managing Editor across the company’s Railway Modelling portfolio. The position encompasses BRM (British Railway Modelling), together with the numerous Digital Magazine projects within the portfolio as well as the magazine’s Model-Railways-Live website and regular Email Newsletters. The successful candidate must be able to continue with the significant editorial improvement shown in the BRM relaunch, and exploit the mass of opportunities to link editorial content in paper form with the portfolio’s numerous digital outlets. They also need to be passionate about all things digital – digital magazines, websites, E-Newlsetters – and communicate a paper/digital editorial strategy to a team of office-based writers and external contributors. A railways/railway modelling background is preferred, but not essential.
