Heljan class 23 D5907

 Hi Peoples!

 Has anybody out there bought this Heljan model? Its supposedly in gloss green but the one I've just bought I would say was a satin finish. I recently bought a Heljan western in gloss green and that is very gloss. Have I got an incorrectly finished model?

Having seen this model, I would say it's the least glossy of Heljan's gloss finish models, so I don't think your model is incorrectly finished.   

 

Making a comparison from models on the Hatton's website (so very likely to have similar photography conditions), I think these show the different gloss finishes:

 Thanks for that. I compared that link to the 23 with other class 23 pictures and you can see that it is a little more glossy. I did buy it from Hattons and they are quite happy to take it back if thats what I want to do. I might get a resprayer to give it another topcote and a very light touch of weathering on the roof and bogies. I do like the brand new look on some of my diesels. After all they were painted in gloss paint when fresh out the shops
