Torr Giffard LSWR 1951-71
Mornin' all, Charity coach trips are a good way of helping support our preserved railways (our group of 50 paid around £600 to the railway), raising funds for charity (£350 was shared between four of our local churches) and having a day out together. Our annual steam train outing...this one to the Gloucs/Warks yesterday was a great success and was our 10th different preserved railway visited in 10 years. See Many thanks to all at the GWR who helped make our trip so enjoyable. Dave
Twright
I know this is a bit late but I have only just found this thread but I think I speak for all the volunteers at the GlosWarks when I say, I'm glad you had a nice time and I hope you will visit us again.
