Newhaven & District MRC will be holding their annual exhibition on Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th October 2013 at Newlands School, Eastbourne Road, Seaford, East Sussex BN25 4NP.
Opening times are Saturday 10am - 5pm and Sunday 10am - 4pm
 

Layouts attending

Banbury - N gauge Modern Image layout based on Railway Operations around Banbury including Freight, Railtours and Passenger traffic.

Stourcombe - OO Somerset & Dorset Railway branchline using Southern Region locos and rolling stock.

Gravesdown South - OO 1970s/80s Diesel Depot layout based on Raneleigh Bridge just outside Paddington showing loco movements & passenger trains.

Wiesental - N gauge East/West German Freight & Passenger operations.

Vaals - N gauge Dutch Electric operations with modelled overhead catenary. 

Kiln Road - OO North Eastern Region Colliery branchline.

Kemp Town - N gauge layout modelled on the Terminus of the branchline off the Brighton to Lewes line.

Barsnac - HO French switching layout in a small space.

Downland - OO British Table-top layout with basic operation.

Parsley Sidings - Children’s Have-a-Go Shunting layout where children can shunt a train of numbered wagons in sequence into sidings.

Detford - Bexhill MRC’s OO layout showing BR 1950s/60s Southern Region operations.

Railroad Crossing - HO Scale American Switching layout in a small space and trackplan with DCC & Sound.

Tramlink - OO Modern Image showing Trams running through Croydon centre.

Whitwell N and Childs Hill - OO9 – both layouts owned by Phil Gardner and showing what can be achieved in a small space.

Farleigh Down - O9 Military Munitions private Railway.

The school is a 15 minute walk from Seaford station going east along the A259, or take a No.12 bus which stops virtually outside the school. There is a Tea/Coffee cafe on the 1st floor of the venue but only the ground floor has disabled access for which we apologise.
