Jon Gwinnett
Hi all, Excuse the cryptic title, I'm trying to find an old continental modeller which featured a modern harbour layout (Antwerp? Rotterdam? Somewhere?) with container and bulk terminals and so on. I also ember seeing an image of it in model railroader or model railroad planning, but credited to Iain Rice? Which was odd as I thought it was a Dutch group that had built it. I appreciate this is all a bit vague, any help in narrowing it down greatly received! Jon Gwinnett
Interesting, not the one I was thinking of but very useful nonetheless - thank you. Jon
shortliner
Jon - there was a very small, almost diorama, layout using Lego to build the buildings, and boats, and covering it with plasticard - I think it also used Pringles tubes for silos - built by two young lads. I think I have it in a file box if it is what you are looking for. It was based on Antwerp docks in about 4' x 2'
Jon Gwinnett
Hi Jack, nope, that's not it either, although it sounds interesting. Maybe I dreamt it, or perhaps it was in Loco revue or something other than the Modeller, although I have a strong recollection that's where it was. Oh well, perhaps the old brain has finally given up the ghost! Jon
