RateTheFreight
Hi all. Does anyone have any info on the Palethorpe's service that ran in the GW/BR era? I'm thinking specifically about types of wagons used, likely traction and so forth. From a modelling perspective I know Hornby do/have previosuly done both a 6 wheeled van and a van on a standard coach chassis. Are these both prototypical and do they represent different era's. Thanks (any pictures would also be gratefully received). Greg
Adrian Wintle
The two GWR 6-wheeled vans (2801/2802) were for a dedicated service. One ran in each direction each day.
