This request is as a result of a random discussion with Jamie at Wakefield Show over the weekend when we discussed fireless locos. Carr's had one named ' DESPATCH' ( http://www.flickr.com/photos/31514768@N05/4055883193/ ) which is currently preserved at the Gretna ordnance museum (and which Jamie says he drove as a lad). I was thinking that a biscuit factory might be a possible inspiration for a small layout to use my recently acquired Lilliput fireless loco, bought to use on my American layout - until I realised that it has buffers! DOH! It's to nice to dispose of so I would like to use it on another 'Enigma look-a-like' but with 16.5mm gauge in HO. In addition, I suppose any other similar factory photos would be useful. Huntley and Palmers in Reading? I could then use a GWR King for a spot of shunting occasionally. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
