However the other day I took time to visit the local library to see what books they have. So I'm currently reading various books about local railway history. I also took time to visit a local charity shop and for £5 bought a copy of British Steam Railways by David Ross (2003) and History of Railways edited by EJ Cornwall (!976) - even if I dont read cover to cover I can still enjoy the 'pretty pictures'.
