Hi all,

 

This will be a continuation of my previous workbench on the old site which covered various subjects from MTK units to class 66's,

 

A brief overview of what was contained in the old thread (which I'll copy the link to once the site is sorted out)

 

It started off with my MTK Ayrshire class 126 which was completed to a point where it ran on our club's layout at the Glasgow show a few years back, I'm planning to revisit this one to finish details such as water tank fillers etc,

 

A Craftsman conversion kit of a Lima 127, this will also be revisited to finish off some minor details.

 

Other subjects included various resprays and detailling,

 

Network Rail 73213,

 

DB Schenker 59206, a Hornby base model, this has since had a Hurst chassis detailling kit added and paintwork alterations to the bufferbeam area,

 

DB Schenker 66152, resprayed from a Bachmann GBRf 66 seen here on Holland Park at Glasgow,

 

Network Rail 97304, resprayed from a ViTrains base model,

 

Advenza Freight 66841, resprayed from a Bachmann base model,

 

DB Schenker 37419 & 37670, both Bachmann resprays with additional detailling to 37670 with front grilles and headcode boxes being changed,

 

Large logo 37425 "Pride of the Valleys, the original loco was 37426, the numbers were removed and replaced with a set of bespoke decals from Precision Labels,

 

Scotrail Saltire liveried 156432, a respray from a Lima model using decals from Dave's Model Resprays, this has since been fitted with a gangway door blanking plate and plough/deflector plate, the eventual plan is to fit a Hurst underframe kit too,

 

That's all for now, I have decals on order for 67018 as that will be my next project, my layout is booked to attend a show in April so that will be my target for getting it done!
