I took the decision to purchase a South West Digital Sound Chip for one of my Heljan 47s with some surlpus cash from stock sale. The difference this made was fantastic. Instant transportation back to circa 1980. I have decide that over time all locos will be sound fitted and probably weathered as well. It is certainly an aim to have them all equiped with lights. This will take a long time as it is very cost prohibitive! To date I have 47 035 -Bachmann fitted with SWD sound chip, 20 192 Bachmann fitted sound chip, 37 254 Bachmann fitted sound chip and Deltic 55 013 (The Black Watch) fitted with an Olivia's Sound chip as I was far too impatient to wait on Bachamnn's one. They also weathered and fitted lights to it. Excellent! All that is missing is that diesel smell. Now I think..........http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/public/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif
