What was wrong with the curly cord by the way? N In the far gone days when I was a telephone engineer, this would have been logged as F.N.F. Fault not found. I have a spare three metre lead which I pressed into service along with the excising three metre cord and they worked together. The last time I tried that combination, no joy. When I tested the resealed box along with the offending curly cord, they both worked and no amount of pulling, pushing or twisting would make either fail. It was sold as an LH90 lead. I think the curly leads are rather sensible. I really dislike those fault not found faults.
