RMweb Premium jamie92208 Posted February 22, 2014 RMweb Premium Share Posted February 22, 2014 Going out of Leeds earlier this week I noticed that the flat ground in the Holbeck Triangle had been mainly gravelled over and there appeared to be a lot of track components, crossings, diamonds etc being laid out. No sleepers at this stage but it looked to me as if work was starting on relaying the double diamond (Yes I do remember the beer) crossing from the Wellington curve across onto the Skipton Lines. These were only laid in 2000 when Leeds was rebuilt but have since carried very heavy traffic. Does anyone know if such a renewal is planned and when. I suspect it might be Easter this year.
