Silver Sidelines
Good, I shall watch with interest. I would say that with all your space that you might outgrow your first layout quite quickly. All good practice. Speak again Ray
ben pez
Cheers ray Ive now ran the bus wires underneath the baseboards today, took me ages feeding it through the holes and pulling it around the layout! Now ready for soldering droppers and laying track I csn see where you coming from about me outgrowing the layout, but the width of the long straight sections is only 12 inches wide,so I can only run a double track in that space,as its eventually going to have an embankment on either side of the lines as well obvouisly the four corners are a lot wider to allow for a nice flowing curve. I,ll keep yer posted how im getting along cheers ben
GWR00N
Hi Ben. Just reading through your post. I was wondering what size wire you used for the bus wire and did you use single or multi core wire?
DCB
I wonder if you have thought through how you are going to operate if the main lines are just one section each, even my 6X4 bed layout has 3 sections per main line, it sounds as if you will have to go DCC with this set up
