BritishModelRail Posted March 14, 2014 Share Posted March 14, 2014 Hello, I am looking to repaint a Hornby Mk3 I have into Irish Mk3 intercity livery, I have successfully removed the body from the chassis but I cannot remove the windoes, any help? Vin Posted March 15, 2014 Share Posted March 15, 2014 Hi, The windows are glued in. Removal is very difficult without damage. The easiest way is to scrap the existing windows and fit Shawplan Laserglazing after you have painted the coaches. They look a lot better than the originals as the plastic is thinner and clearer.
