RMweb Gold Joseph_Pestell Posted March 19, 2014 RMweb Gold Share Posted March 19, 2014 Not sure if this is the right place for this post. And surprised that I can't find a thread that has already mentioned this. I was in WH Smith today and found a model "Coronation" streamlined LMS Pacific on sale. It's a bit like the well-known Del Prado collection in N but these are to 1:76. The "Coronation" is #2 in the series and I don't know what was #1. They are due to come out at fortnightly intervals with the next being a Flying Scotsman (LNER apple green but with "German" smoke deflectors) at £8.99. I thought that it (the Coronation) was not at all bad and would be interested to know how easily it could be motorised. Not fully up to modern standards but certainly better than the Hornby of 20 to 30 years ago (current Railroad models).
