The Lancs & Yorks interests me and I'd like to know what the large boiler Hughes 0-8-0's were used for. Did they work from the South Yorkshire coalfields through Hebden Bridge to Lancashire, or were they used on purely Lancashire trips? Thanks in advance for any ideas.
