I've noticed that Hornby Magazine doesn't get much publicity on RM Web, probably because when it began it was very much aimed at beginners.  I think the content's improved a lot over the years and it's still IMHO the best-looking of the four MOR monthlies.

Anyway, this month's content:

The usual news of new releases that everyone has these days

Chollerford (00) - steam era layout set in the north-east

Nigel Burkin on making trees pt2

Tim Shackleton weathering a 66 + MRA side-tippers

A filler spread on why you should make wagon kits

Interview with Dapol's top honchos (or should that be honchoes?)

Letters

Foxdale Depot (EM) - really gorgeous pre-1948 Derbyshire mineral railway

Pt8 of Operation Build It - wiring point and signal motors

Reviews

Prototype article on Class 33s

Adding decoders to Heljan 33s and forming consists

Titheridge Junction (N) - blue period WR

Staff projects - Forward planning on Twelve Trees Junction

Prototype article on suburban trains

Not a great issue, but not a bad one either.
