Sheffield Midlands
Can anyone help? I am trying to establish before I wire up a Class 220, whether it is possible to program a LokSound chip to show red lights at both ends when either the sound is switched off or when the light function F0 is switched off (preferred). All answers gratefully received.
AMJ
Yes, but rather than having the red tail lights powered through the usual head & tail light circuitry do tis using some of the AUX outs. There are examples relating to wiring up tail lights for a class 47 which could be used to do what you are after. Without knowing the versionof the sound chip, I'd suggest looking at the manual for it as this will show the spare AUX outs. Often these can then be programmed on the chip to come on via different Fn buttons.
