ghost-signs.com
I've just ordered a Bachmann 2-EPB and, whilst researching how to fit the DCC chip, I noticed from the very helpful RMweb review that the coupling between the coaches is a conductive bar which fits into NEM pockets. A while back I fitted directional lighting to an old Hornby 110 DMU, but have always been dogged by problems with my rather ungainly wiring between carriages which has a habit of derailing the train. It has just occurred to me I could somehow fit NEM pockets in place of the old tension lock couplings and use the spare bar from the 2-EPB. Obviously I'd have to figure some way to fit contacts inside the NEM pockets. Has anyone else tried a similar thing?
