Captain Cuttle
Hello, I am looking for the name and details of the EM1 loco and stock used on a rail tour to the Woodhead route in 1966/67 that came from the Southern Region.Apparently Bulleid stock was used for the tour. Cheers CC

RMweb Premium keefer Posted January 28, 2010 RMweb Premium Share Posted January 28, 2010 at the sixbellsjunction website there are two 'Great Central' railtours listed for 1966 http://www.sixbellsjunction.co.uk/60s/660813gc.html - RCTS, 13/08/66 using E26053 'perseus', stock not detailed. (scroll down for timings, but a couple of pics at http://www.railbrit.co.uk/location.php?loc=Penistone ) http://www.sixbellsjunction.co.uk/60s/660903lc.html - LCGB, 03/09/66 using E26021, BUT noted as having mk1 stock (scroll down for pics and timings) don't know if this helps or not! (based entirely on the trains staring in 3rd rail territory!) EDIT:sorry, spent so long looking someone beat me to it! oops
