Andy Y
Bishops Stortford Exhibition On The Move Due to unforeseen circumstances Bishop's Stortford Railway Society are unable to use their previous exhibition premises and after a detailed search are moving to the Birchwood High School's sports hall. As a result the exhibition will be much bigger featuring approximately 30 layouts, traders and associated stands. The school has good bus links with the town centre as well as only being a 20 minute walk from the railway station. For those driving the school is only 2 minutes from the M11 junction 8 / A414 and has a sizeable free car park. The venue has good facilities with all internal exhibits on one level and most in the sports hall. The sitting and film viewing area are in the sports hall classroom and the engineers mobile ride-on railway will be just outside the show entrance. The layouts will cover O, OO and N gauge and include 3 vintage ones; and the traders will cover new and second hand stock, books and model accessories. In keeping with our tradition we are featuring layouts from local clubs as well as some of our own. Refreshments will be available throughout the day. For more details please look at the society's website closer to the exhibition date www.tinyurl.com/bsrailsoc or email bsrailsoc@gmail.com.

Thanks Andy - one for the diary.I see why the website didn't come up - it is one of those that use a subdomain xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx which are all treated as suspect and are blocked - I look forward to more details on RMWeb nearer the time.
