I want an operational layout, small in size, that will provide a test bed for electrical, scenic and logistical techniques that I can then use on my main layout, Newcastle Emlyn. While I have already started a thread for NE, this layout, DE, will be built ahead. I may start NE before DE is complete, but I won't be experimenting with techniques on DE… or at least that is the plan. I'm creating this thread for a couple of reasons. Firstly, to document what I am doing and secondly to allow anyone who is interested a chance to comment and give me ideas. Who knows, someone may even take some ideas from me!
