RMweb Premium 47137 Posted June 29, 2014 RMweb Premium Share Posted June 29, 2014 I picked up these bridge sides at a bring and buy stall. They are about 350 mm long, and might make a bridge about 1:50 to 1:70 scale. So they may be from a different hobby possibly wargaming. Bit of an idle question but can anyone suggest who was the manufacturer? They have cleaned up quite nicely in some Prudax and seem to be wanting a piece of thick card to make the road and some fresh paint. - Richard. RMweb Gold griffgriff Posted June 29, 2014 RMweb Gold Share Posted June 29, 2014 Perhaps it's from the 'slot car' racing world?
James Harrison
They look very much like a humpback bridge accessory that was in the Scalextric range 15 or 20 years ago.
RMweb Premium 47137 Posted June 29, 2014 Author RMweb Premium Share Posted June 29, 2014 It is an Airfix Motor Racing hump back bridge. As such it is officially 1:32 scale, tho' this makes the span barely nine feet wide. I think I'll find a use for it ... thanks. - Richard.
