I just bought a copy (the tramp steamer from the Clyde is slow).

The article on modifying the LMS Diner -- is this a leftover from the April fool's issue?  The coach is GBP 45 and he adds nearly GBP 200 worth of electronics to it?

 

And I haven't had the courage to translate that to Canadian dollars.

Well here's one way to look at it  i always  convert the pound to $2 plus or minus 10%  cus that's what banks do buying or selling . 

245.00 GBP =

444.104 CAD from XE.com 

 

so the banks are selling around 1.94 to the pound add in GST , provincial sales tax and that's how much it costs
