Clem
Looking for a quick bit of advice from anyone in the know - or any supplier of steam era transfers: I'm modelling a particular J39 which as late as 1955 had the incorrect curly 6 at the beginning of its front number plate number. I'd like to reproduce that, - So does anyone know off hand if any of suppliers of transfers do number plate numbers including the curly six. Really obliged if anyone can help. Clem
Modelmaster. Go to "Railway Decals" and search for "curly". Alan Cheers for the tip, Alan. I've just come off the phone from the guy from Modelmaster - Although front number plate decals are not yet available, they are definitely on the way 1-3months. Worth the wait to get it right! Cabside curlies already available but I think these tended to disappear failry quickly after the early 1950s. Good old RMweb! Many thanks Alan!
