AngryMeerkat
I'm after some etched wipers for the upgrades I'm doing to some Lima models I picked up cheap, but I'm confused. Do I need long arm, short arm, pantograph wipers, or some other type? I'm mainly after them for the Lima class 60 in 00 gauge, but would also like some for classes 31, 37, 47 and 66. Do all of these use the same kind of wiper or do I need different types? Also any recommendations on which company to order them from? Many thanks, Mark

NickL2008
Long Arms single wipers I would have thought.. 31 would be short, 37 and 47 would also be short single bladed wipers,66 probably a medium type of wiper, again single bladed, the twin arm ones were mainly used on multiple units NL
YesTor
I find wipers difficult - often the plastic ones are far too chunky, while Shawplan do a good selection of the different types in etched brass, however I always find the Shawplan wipers to be too far in the opposite direction, as in far too fine. I really wish they'd make them not quite so hair-like in appearance.
