Southwold
My PC fatally crashed and although I've recovered all my files which are now on my new laptop, I'm left without my browser bookmarks. I'm looking for a topic which I'd saved for future reference. It was a lengthy and detailed topic with numerous photographs explaining how to put together brass etched couplings. If my memory serves me correctly the etched fret provides 10 pairs of couplings and construction involves a jig to bend up phosphor bronze wire to form the loop to hook up to the adjoining wagon. I've searched the forum in several ways using couplings as the basis, but drawn a blank. Can anyone help please? I've tried both the and NGRM Online without success. bécasse
Could this be Steve Bennett's piece on constructing DG couplings which is here: http://www.minimumgauge.info/viewtopic.php?t=3318
Southwold
That's the one bécasse, I was reminded of this through and answer on 'the other' forum. I'd forgotten I used to browse there. Thank you very much for looking though...it shows the benefit of belonging to a community like this, Ken
