RSS Fetcher Posted February 1, 2010 Share Posted February 1, 2010 LMS COACHES PART 2 In LMS Part 1, I showed a Hornby repaint in blood & custard, Diagram D1905. The lavatory was at the guards end, which entailed running the water filler pipes along half the length of the roof. I mentioned etched brass sides have been purchased from Comet Models with a view to 'rebuilding' this coach. This morning I scrapped the plastic coach in favour of building an all-metal D1905. Only the interior and roof pipes were re-used. This is a photo of the Hornby coach followed by the all-metal replacement....
