railroadbill
Bought this recently, having found the previous 2 issues useful. Thought it would be difficult to avoid covering the same ground as the others, but here are plenty of new ideas and techniques in it, particularly the scenic stuff. Liked the idea of following one layout through the manual, good having lots of useful references in one (now 3!) volumes to easily access. And the prototype line is one of my favourites (from hoiday trips of long ago) so manual had to be bought. Best idea so far is a scenic extension to the baseboard that is made lightly and just clips on the main board. Brilliant! I'd put off making extensions to my original "tough enough to hold an elephant" baseboards, but that idea will do the job nicely. Well worth it.
