RMweb Gold ngtrains.com Posted August 21, 2014 RMweb Gold Share Posted August 21, 2014 I have been sent a HobbyTrade DSB Litra MT model to install sound in by a customer. Fitting the decoder is easy as its wired for a simple plug in so I have an ESU Loksound V4 on its way. My question is given there is no exact sound file for the loco what would be near enough? I know exactly zero about Danish loco's but wikipedia tells me that the locomotives were diesel electrics and originally equipped with 8- cylinder Frichs 8.200CV engines, but due. many problems with these, they were replaced in 1968-1969 to Maybach Mercedes 820 B, 12-cylinder diesel engines. Then drove the locomotives without major problems until retirement in the late 1990s Your suggestions please........

RMweb Gold ngtrains.com Posted August 21, 2014 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted August 21, 2014 Nick Thanks for that - I did look at the sound database and filtered it by country and that only showed an electric loco for Denmark. Have now found that one and will install it when the decoder arrives Thanks Again
