Beatty 139
It has always been a bit challenging when you can cut 4mm & 6mm laser ply with almost no burning and consistent results, but 0.4, 0.8 & 1.5mm thin birch ply cuts with all kinds of issues and dark burning to the edges, due to the glue used for the 'Aircraft' quality. After quite a lot of discussion with one of the importer and the mill they are agreed to look at producing a low volume run of interior glue thin ply as a trial for laser cutting. They are willing to produce in 0.4mm, 0.8mm, 1.0mm, 1.5mm & 2.0mm thick in 1500 x 1500 sheets. If anyone in interested please PM me and I can advise of the proposed costs see if we can meet the minimum order quantities, I should say they are willing to do a mixed order of thicknesses.
