Some of them appear to be of the latest China made variety made from circa 2004 onwards, e.g. loco drive and finely detailed. I am aware of the Silver Link limited edition from a few years ago, however my question is are these locos of that same standard or earlier tender propelled versions or of Railroad quality? A definitive list of all the more modern (i.e. 2004 onwards) produced A4's would be welcome. robmcg Posted August 30, 2014 Share Posted August 30, 2014 The third one listed has a bent/loose cab window deflector and missing top lamp iron and driver's-side door. Pretty minor but devalues it a tad. The first one with 2510 looks good to me pity it's a UK-only auction. I hadn't realised that Hornby had done 2509, 10 and 12 in super detail.
